Overview

Automation QA Engineer focused on payments or banking domain testing, building and maintaining automated test suites for regression and functional validation.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for frontend and backend validation.
• Run thorough regression testing across integrated systems.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, and business analysts on test strategy.
• Execute functional and regression testing, with performance testing optional.
• Document test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Track and report bugs using JIRA and improve test frameworks and automation coverage.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and support code reviews and CI pipelines.

What you'll need

• Prior test automation experience.
• 2 to 5 years of experience working with test frameworks in Java.
• Proficiency in Selenium, Maven, and Junit.
• 2+ years of database experience with SQL/Oracle.
• Solid experience with RESTful APIs and Postman/Insomnia.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, GitHub, Bitbucket).
• Medium knowledge of UNIX commands.
