Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Overview

Senior Site Reliability Engineer role within the SRE team, acting as a hands-on technical leader to improve reliability, scalability, and observability.

What you'll do

• Design and evolve highly available, fault tolerant, scalable infrastructure across public clouds.
• Define and enforce reliability objectives using SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Lead incident response and blameless postmortems to drive engineering changes.
• Drive deep observability with comprehensive telemetry, logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Build automation and self-healing tools to reduce toil.
• Contribute to IaC, CI/CD, deployment automation, and scalable configuration management.
• Lead operational excellence through on-call rotations and reliability validation practices.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in a software engineering role.
• At least 2 years in Site Reliability, Platform Engineering, or similar.
• Deep experience building systems on public cloud providers (Azure preferred).
• Strong programming skills in JS, Node, TypeScript, Go, Java, C#, or similar.
• Experience with monitoring/alerting/observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform/Pulumi and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native system design.
