Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Full Stack Software Engineer role building scalable, secure, production-grade applications across frontend, backend, cloud and AI integrations, following a standardized Golden Path.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain frontend, backend, APIs, event-driven services, testing, observability and AI integrations.
• Own features end-to-end while maintaining engineering standards for quality, security and production readiness.
• Use AI-assisted development tools for planning, codebase exploration, implementation, refactoring, testing, debugging, code review and documentation.

What you'll need

• Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript and NestJS.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and TypeORM.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience with event-driven architecture using AWS SQS and SNS.
• Experience with Microsoft Graph API, particularly email and related integrations.
• Strong understanding of microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with OpenTelemetry and UVP for observability, distributed tracing and production troubleshooting.
• Strong testing experience using Jest and Playwright.
• Strong knowledge of Git, pull requests and code reviews.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Jira and Agile/Scrum.
• Experience working with standardized Golden Path/platform engineering practices.
• Hands-on experience with AI development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, GitHub Copilot or equivalent.
• Ability to use AI effectively for planning, codebase exploration, implementation, refactoring, testing, debugging, code review and documentation.
• Understanding of prompt and context engineering, providing AI with appropriate repository context, requirements, constraints and architectural patterns.
• Familiarity with agentic workflows, agents/sub-agents, task decomposition and parallel execution.
• Experience or understanding of Databricks/OpenAI and MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations.
• Ability to critically validate AI-generated solutions for correctness, security, performance and maintainability.
• Understanding that AI accelerates engineering delivery but does not replace engineering judgment, testing, review or ownership.

Nice to have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Experience with Codefresh, GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms.
• Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and modern authentication/authorization patterns.
• Experience building or integrating AI-enabled or agentic applications.
