Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing and developing production-grade Java applications, microservices, full-stack interfaces, and Generative AI or Agentic AI solutions. The role covers rapid prototyping through production deployment, with emphasis on scalability, security, reliability, observability, and cost efficiency.

What you'll do

• Design and develop scalable Java, Spring Boot, and microservices applications.
• Build REST APIs and integrations with databases, enterprise systems, and external services.
• Develop React and TypeScript/JavaScript conversational interfaces and widgets.
• Create GenAI and Agentic AI prototypes using Python, Vertex AI, and ADK.
• Implement agentic workflows, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and prompt engineering.
• Deploy and operate cloud-native applications on GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes/GKE.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architecture, code reviews, and engineering practices.

What you'll need

• 5–8 years of software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java/JDK 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices.
• Experience with GCP, Docker, Kubernetes/GKE, and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working experience with Python for AI or GenAI development.
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD, automated testing, and REST APIs.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with Vertex AI, Google ADK, or comparable Agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with MCP servers/tools, ChatGPT integrations, or conversational AI applications.
• Experience with BigQuery, Pub/Sub, event-driven architectures, Terraform, or LLMOps.
