Senior Software Engineer, Product Development

Overview

Senior Software Engineer supporting an Order Management Systems product engineering team. Develop cloud-native Java microservices and backend services for enterprise order management and supply chain applications.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Build REST APIs and backend services.
• Implement product features and resolve production issues.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and engineering teams.
• Improve application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Use AI tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and productivity.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong Java programming skills.
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles.
• Experience with SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications such as order, inventory, supply chain, warehouse management, or eCommerce systems.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
