Sr. Software Engineer

Overview

Sr. Software Engineer focused on enterprise application development with Java (Spring Boot) and REST APIs, along with CI/CD and security implementation.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain Java-based backend services using Spring Boot/Spring Framework.
• Design and implement RESTful web services for microservices architecture.
• Apply JVM knowledge for memory management and performance tuning.
• Implement security layers using Spring Security and best practices.
• Integrate front-end components using JavaScript/jQuery (React exposure is a plus).
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, SonarQube, and Ansible.
• Participate in sprint planning, estimation, and technical discussions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and REST API development.
• Strong understanding of JVM architecture, garbage collection, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Spring Security including authentication/authorization flows.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/jQuery (basic React understanding is a bonus).
• Familiarity with caching frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, SonarQube, and Ansible.
• Solid understanding of Git, branching, and version control best practices.
• Exposure to SQL and NoSQL databases.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with DevSecOps and secure coding practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
