Overview

Senior Software Development Engineer (Backend) focused on backend systems supporting advertising capabilities, including delivery, targeting, and measurement/optimization.

What you'll do

• Design and build scalable, resilient microservices for the ad tech stack.
• Own end-to-end delivery of complex backend projects from design through deployment and monitoring.
• Write high-quality, maintainable code with rigorous testing and fault tolerance.
• Drive architecture decisions and influence long-term engineering strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Data Scientists to translate needs into technical solutions.
• Own operational excellence including performance tuning, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior engineers, run technical deep dives, and conduct code reviews.

What you'll need

• Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python.
• Experience designing and building distributed systems at scale.
• Understanding of storage systems, query performance, and caching strategies.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred), messaging systems (Kafka), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage delivery timelines in fast-paced environments.
• Experience is stated as 4-7 years in backend development.
