Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing and programming large software components and delivering quality features within an Agile/Scrum team.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and technical leaders to understand requirements and user stories.
• Develop quality software as part of a Scrum team using Agile methodology.
• Ensure code quality, test coverage, and adherence to quality parameters.
• Investigate and help resolve product complaints from customers/field engineers.
• Perform integration and verification at component and sub-system levels.
• Document requirements, designs, and verification activities per quality processes.
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.

What you'll need

• 6+ years of software design and development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering/Electrical Engineering/Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• Experience developing medical image acquisition applications.
• Strong Java expertise and knowledge of microservices and Docker/container technologies (Linux environment considered a plus).
• Good understanding of OOD/OOP concepts and UML.
• Practical experience with GitLab, defect tracking tools, and debuggers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to own tasks with limited supervision.
