Staff Software Engineer

Overview

Staff Software Engineer for OneTrust’s agile Product Engineering team, owning complex features end-to-end and influencing architecture and design decisions.

What you'll do

• Independently own delivery of complex features/components from design through production.
• Drive system architecture and component-design discussions for your area of ownership.
• Partner with Product, UX, and other engineers during solution planning.
• Network with senior engineers to align on shared technical decisions.
• Conduct peer code reviews and help set the quality bar for the team.
• Champion testing practices, including exploratory and AI-assisted testing approaches.
• Support ramp-up and growth of Associate and Software Engineers.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with Core Java, Spring, Spring Boot, hibernate, microservices, and Kafka messaging.
• Demonstrated experience owning complex features end-to-end in frontend or backend systems.
• Familiarity with a public cloud provider (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS).
• Ability to independently own work with minimal day-to-day direction and general guidance on new assignments.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
