Senior Software Engineer II

Overview

Senior Software Engineer II responsible for designing and developing complex software components and executing quality engineering practices for health-market products.

What you'll do

• Finalize requirements with technical personnel and team members.
• Write and review specifications for complex system components.
• Design software across multiple systems and translate product requirements into solutions.
• Complete complex bug fixes and resolve technical issues.
• Implement development processes, coding practices, and code reviews.
• Design and work with complex data models.
• Mentor and train less-senior software engineers.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
• BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• Strong experience with Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, AWS cloud technologies, microservices, and RDBMS systems.
• Advanced knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Strong proficiency with data manipulation language and optimization techniques.
• Strong understanding of normalized and dimensional data modeling.
• Knowledge of test-driven development and multiple data storage subsystems.

Nice to have

• Experience with Redis or Valkey caching systems.
