Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer responsible for designing, developing, supporting, and improving enterprise-scale applications using Pega, Java, and cloud-native technologies.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain enterprise applications using Pega Platform, Java, and JEE.
• Translate business requirements into technical designs with product owners, architects, and stakeholders.
• Build backend services, integrations, and APIs for enterprise workflows.
• Troubleshoot production, deployment, implementation, and environment issues.
• Improve application performance, scalability, resilience, and security.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and system testing frameworks.
• Mentor team members and promote engineering standards, automation, and CI/CD practices.

What you'll need

• 8–9 years of software engineering experience with enterprise-scale applications.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Pega Platform, REST APIs, and microservices.
• Knowledge of application architecture, object-oriented design, integration patterns, and distributed systems.
• Experience with cloud-native technologies and AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of Agile, SDLC, DevSecOps, and iterative delivery.
• Experience with databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.

Nice to have

• AWS experience and cloud certification.
• Java, Pega CSSA, AWS Developer, Solutions Architect, or related certifications.
