Senior Software Engineer

Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on the software development team, you will work as a technical developer on product implementation and contribute to validation before delivery.

What you'll do

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or Electronics and Communication.
• 5+ years of application development on the Java tech stack.
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented design principles.
• Extensive experience with Spring Framework, including Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Proficiency in unit testing, integration testing, contract testing, and test automation using JUnit, Mockito, TestContainers, and related frameworks.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.
• Strong knowledge of API security, including OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), JWT, SAML, and secure API design practices.
• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining microservices-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, including scalability, resiliency, fault tolerance, and performance optimization.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), design patterns, SOLID principles, and enterprise application architecture.
• Strong understanding of Secure SDLC, OWASP Top 10, vulnerability management, and secure coding standards.
• Strong expertise in RESTful API development, service integration, and API lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD practices and DevOps tooling including Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, SonarQube, Maven, and Gradle.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, including cloud-native application development.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging technologies such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
• Experience with observability and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Dynatrace, or AppDynamics.
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and practices, including GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or equivalent AI coding assistants; AI-assisted code generation, unit test generation, and code reviews; AI-assisted refactoring and modernization; specification-driven and AI-enabled software development workflows; and responsible AI usage, validation, and governance practices.
