Senior Software Engineer - Automation Testing

Overview

Senior Software Engineer focused on automation testing of web-based and mobile applications, working alongside remote and on-site development teams and the Quality Assurance Department.

What you'll do

• Test web-based and mobile applications.
• Understand software requirements and architecture specifications to perform testing activities.
• Write and execute manual test cases and automate them.
• Work with other remote and on-site development teams.
• Interface with the Quality Assurance Department to guide the development of software verification and validation tests.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 3 - 7 years of total experience in web-based application testing on multiple desktop and mobile platforms.
• 1-2 years of experience on UI/API automation testing using any Java/Python based test automation frameworks.
• Must have working knowledge of a programming language: Java or Python.
• Working knowledge of cloud-based cross-browser testing such as Sauce Labs.
• Experience of spinning up test automation frameworks from scratch.

Nice to have

• Good to have knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure.
• Performance test experience in JMeter.
• Good understanding of Agile principles.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional project teams.
• Exposure to AI-driven testing.
