Job description

Overview

Senior Software Engineer - Backend responsible for building and maintaining scalable, high-performance backend services and solving complex systems problems.

What you'll do

  • Build and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services.
  • Write clean, efficient code in Python and Go.
  • Design and optimize systems for speed, reliability, and distributed scale.
  • Work closely with ML, Infra, and Frontend teams to ship end-to-end features.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and tech planning.
  • Solve complex systems problems and contribute to architectural decisions.

What you'll need

  • 3 to 7 years of backend or systems development experience.
  • Proficiency in Python and/or Go.
  • Strong grasp of distributed systems, concurrency, and performance optimization.
  • Experience building APIs, microservices, or cloud-native apps.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD workflows, and monitoring tools.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud infra (AWS/GCP).
  • Familiarity with message queues, caching, or databases at scale.
  • Exposure to ML/AI engineering or infra-related tooling.
  • Contributions to open-source or side projects.
