Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Join Liberis's Mumbai Engineering team of 7 to build composable, modular technology platforms that drive growth in the embedded finance market and help close the global SME funding gap.

What you'll do

• Use continuous delivery practices to deliver high-quality software and value to end users as early as possible.
• Work in collaborative, customer-obsessed teams to build experiences for internal and external users.
• Contribute to the distributed, global architecture while defending quality and performance requirements.
• Build and run software, exemplifying DevOps culture.
• Take part in the entire software lifecycle, from ideation to building, maintenance, collecting feedback and improving.
• Mentor junior engineers.

What you'll need

• Professional experience writing code in two or more programming languages.
• A willingness to learn the tech stack, mostly C# .NET, NextJs, React and GCP.
• An understanding of working with Agile methods, such as Extreme Programming, Kanban or Scrum.
• Experience mentoring more junior team members.
• Multiple years of experience in an environment that is in some way similar to ours.
• Resilience in early-stage business situations, where requirements are evolving and experimentation is required.

Nice to have

• Experience building data-heavy products, e.g. ETL pipelines, event streamlining or data mesh approaches.
• Experience of cloud technologies (mostly Azure and GCP).
• Experience using highly collaborative methods such as ensemble, mob or pair programming.
• Experience writing financial software.
• Experience with Test Driven Development.

Details

• Location: Mumbai.
• Hybrid working: in the office at least 3 days a week, ideally 4 days.
• Interview process: screening call with internal recruiter, video interview with hiring manager, code pairing session with a member of the Engineering Team, and interview with wider Liberis colleagues.
