Senior Software Engineer, Actimize

Overview

Develop cloud-native microservices and frontend components for the X-Sight Next Gen platform, the advanced cloud platform for building solutions to fight financial crime, as part of the PaaS/SaaS development group at NICE Actimize.

What you'll do

• Develop microservices using cloud-native components as part of the X-Sight platform.
• Develop frontend components and integrate them with backend services.
• Design and implement software features according to architecture and product requirements.
• Write automation tests to ensure fit to design and requirements.
• Deploy the services and frontend components you develop to production environments and ensure no downtime is caused by your service.
• Work and collaborate in multi-disciplinary Agile teams, adopting Agile spirit, methodology and tools.
• Collaborate with development and product teams in India, Israel and US.

What you'll need

• Degree in Computer Science or related fields.
• 4-6 years of experience in software development in Java (v 11+) and Spring Boot, with solid grounding in OOPS.
• Experience building, testing and deploying microservices.
• Experience with AWS services such as S3, DynamoDB, Lambda and EKS, or any other cloud provider such as Azure or GCP.

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend development in JavaScript/AngularJS/React/VueJs.
• Experience with DevOps skills such as Terraform, Jenkins, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Self-motivated, fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and drive.
• Good problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills; friendly disposition; works effectively as a team player.

Details

• Location: Pune, India.
• Work mode: NICE-FLEX hybrid model, 2 days working from the office and 3 days remote each week.
• Reporting into: Tech Manager.
