Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Developer

Overview

Cloud Developer role focused on delivering data products on AWS by building and operating data processing pipelines.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with customers to understand business and technical requirements.
• Onboard new customers and support a smooth implementation process.
• Design and build data processing capabilities based on customer requirements.
• Execute ETL and data processing jobs, troubleshoot issues, and identify discrepancies.
• Analyze data drift and field customer enquiries about data quality and processing outcomes.
• Develop functionality using AWS services (e.g., S3, Athena, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda).
• Configure alerting, monitoring, and observability for data pipelines and applications.

What you'll need

• 5 to 7 years of experience with AWS cloud services such as S3, Athena, Glue, Lambda, and IAM.
• Strong SQL skills for building queries to analyze data.
• Experience working with large volumes of data.
• Experience with multiple data formats such as JSON and XML.
• Experience with big data formats such as Parquet and Iceberg.
• Experience working/developing APIs.

• Participate in an on-call support rotation for availability and reliability of data processing systems and applications.
