Senior Software Engineer – Core Team

Overview

Senior Software Engineer on the Core Team, responsible for designing, scaling, and implementing distributed cloud-native systems across the TrueFoundry platform.

What you'll do

• Design architecture for complex distributed and cloud-native systems.
• Serve as the technical contact for enterprise customer engineering needs and escalations.
• Lead design reviews, code reviews, and critical incident responses.
• Partner with the CTO on architecture, scaling strategies, and technical priorities.
• Guide and mentor US-based engineers across multiple initiatives.
• Drive technical debt cleanup, performance improvements, and resilience upgrades.
• Translate customer needs into scalable engineering solutions.

What you'll need

• 4–8 years of backend or systems engineering experience.
• Expertise in distributed systems and scalable system design.
• Experience with Kubernetes and containerized workloads.
• Experience building or deploying ML/GenAI applications or working with ML/DS teams.
• Programming skills in Python, Golang, TypeScript, or Node.js.
• Understanding of observability, resilience design, and SRE practices.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills.

• Hybrid work with three office days per week: Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
