Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Mobile Engineer to build and operate reliable, high-performance Flutter and native iOS mobile applications used by thousands of healthcare practices, owning parts of the mobile lifecycle from design through release, monitoring and incident response.

What you'll do

• Design and evolve scalable Flutter/Dart applications with native iOS and Android integrations.
• Build and maintain GitHub Actions and Fastlane workflows for testing, signing, and App Store and Google Play deployments.
• Define and improve unit, widget, integration, native UI, and end-to-end testing strategies.
• Own dependency updates, SDK upgrades, release health, crash monitoring, alerting, and incident follow-up.
• Diagnose memory issues, UI jank, network latency, crashes, and background execution problems.
• Partner with Product, Design, Backend, Platform, Security, and Support teams to deliver reliable customer experiences.
• Lead annual iOS and Android SDK target version upgrades, manage OS deprecations, and maintain store policy compliance.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of professional mobile engineering experience.
• Deep Flutter and Dart experience in production applications.
• Strong native iOS experience with Swift and iOS SDKs.
• Working knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, Gradle, and Android release processes.
• Experience designing GitHub Actions and Fastlane pipelines.
• Experience with mobile code signing, provisioning profiles, and store deployments.
• Strong knowledge of unit, widget, bloc, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Solid understanding of WebSocket implementation for real-time communication, connection management, and error handling.
• Strong knowledge of push notification services, including FCM and APNS.
• Experience with Sentry, Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with dependency management, SDK upgrades, security updates, and compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of mobile architecture, state management, persistence, networking, and offline synchronization.
• Strong knowledge of production troubleshooting and root-cause analysis using logs, metrics, traces, and crash reports.
• Excellent communication, documentation, mentoring, and remote collaboration skills.
