Senior Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (R&D Senior Member of Technical Staff) to design and build cloud foundations for industrial software.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers on infrastructure and data solutions.
• Evaluate system architecture, perform risk analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Apply secure development practices and support security/compliance activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for system designs and implementation artifacts.
• Mentor/guide junior engineers and review their work/delivery.
• Own project deliveries, procedures, and designs within the role.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of software development experience in C# (.NET), React.js, WEB/REST API’s, and SQL servers.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing cloud solutions, preferably on Azure.
• Experience with Azure Functions, App Services, Service Fabric, Networking, Storage technologies, and Auth0/Identity server concepts.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and containerized environments.
• Familiarity with SDL process and security tools.
• Familiarity with IaaS/SaaS/PaaS architecture and microservice architecture.
• Understanding of secure software development practices, including threat modeling.
