Senior Software Engineer (Full stack) - Security & Trust

Overview

Truveta is seeking a Full Stack Senior Software Engineer to lead and build modern, scalable software solutions across the full stack. The role focuses on secure, cost-effective cloud-based solutions that streamline engineering processes and enable internal users to deliver faster.

What you'll do

• Lead and build modern, scalable software solutions across the full stack.
• Collaborate with internal users to analyze use cases, requirements, and expectations.
• Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based software solutions.
• Work closely with senior and principal software engineers to help define software direction and long-term strategy.
• Influence technology selection.
• Mentor and guide junior software engineers, improving code quality and security practices.
• Champion SDLC best practices and support junior engineers' growth.
• Provide consultation and subject matter expertise for software development, rollout, and maintenance through the full software lifecycle.
• Lead major projects and program initiatives.
• Participate in sprint planning, remove roadblocks, and ensure on-time delivery with quality.
• Review code developed by other software engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
• Commit to ongoing training on privacy, compliance, and security.
• Join an on-call rotation to triage production software issues and recover services quickly.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
• 7 plus years of strong expertise and hands-on experience in coding, testing, source control, CI/CD pipelines, and APIs in the cloud.
• Proven experience building reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions using modern cloud-based paradigms across both front-end and back-end.
• Experience iterating and evolving software solutions while balancing privacy, security, and reliability against a changing product landscape.
• Demonstrated working knowledge translating a business requirement into a functional design, development, testing, and implementation.
• 7+ years of coding experience building production-quality software in a team setting is required.
• 3+ years of experience building full stack cloud applications with technologies such as Python, .NET, Node.js, React, or Java is required.
• Strong experience with serverless RESTful APIs to support API-driven services for system-to-system usage.
• Strong experience with modern cloud-native platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Extensive hands-on experience with DevOps tools such as Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Extensive experience with testing frameworks for React, Node.js, and C#/.NET.

Nice to have

• Azure DevOps experience.
• Prior work with the Azure platform, including Azure Functions/Web Apps and Azure Storage accounts.
• Prior work with Azure Kubernetes Service and containerized application development.
• Knowledge of Azure security services such as Azure Networking, Azure Firewall, and Azure Key Vault.
