Senior Software Engineer - Fullstack

Overview

Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack) responsible for designing, developing, and supporting scalable web applications and integrations for the Technology Data and Intelligence team.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications.
• Contribute to architecture, API design, database schemas, and system integrations.
• Lead technical projects and conduct code reviews.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.
• Translate product requirements into technical specifications with cross-functional teams.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues.
• Automate deployment pipelines and manage cloud infrastructure.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of hands-on software development and design experience.
• Experience with Java, Node.js, TypeScript, React, and scripting languages including Python, Shell, or Kotlin.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and Step Functions.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Terraform, serverless architecture, and unit testing frameworks including JUnit or Mockito.
• Ability to provide technical leadership across proof-of-concept design, implementation, and support.
• Willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies and concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written technical documentation skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with current AI technologies.
• Experience coaching and developing individuals in a geographically dispersed workforce.
• Background with AWS Lambda and other serverless services.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or GitHub Actions.
