Senior Software Engineer- L2/L3 Datapath Forwarding

Overview

Senior Software Engineer focused on L2/L3 datapath forwarding.

What you'll do

• Translate customer requirements into software design.
• Develop complex packet forwarding features for Layer 2 and Layer 3 (IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, SRv6, EVPN-VxLAN, Multicast, Firewall/Filter, DHCP).
• Analyze, debug, and fix complex microkernel/Linux issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive innovations for complex problems.
• Support complex customer issues and queries from the field.
• Sustain existing features.

What you'll need

• BE/BTech in CS/EE with 7–9 years of experience.
• Excellent C/C++/Python programming, design, problem solving, and debugging skills.
• Strong networking background.
• Experience developing software on routers/switches is desirable.
• Datapath ASIC experience (Broadcom/Mellanox/Innovium/Barefoot or other NPU) is highly desirable.
• Strong C programming fundamentals (string/memory/pointer, macros/typedef, bit manipulations) and data structures.
