Senior Software Engineer (Mexico)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer role supporting frontend and backend feature delivery, with a distributed-architecture focus, working with engineering and cross-functional stakeholders.

What you'll do

• Design and develop new software applications and features.
• Build and maintain solutions for a distributed architecture with scalability.
• Coordinate with Product, Support, and business stakeholders on product design.
• Develop and collect metrics to improve existing products.
• Deliver high-quality features that meet reporting standards.
• Unblock and mentor teammates; lead small development teams when needed.

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience for this senior development role.
• At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go (preferably) and Java/Python or a similar language.
• Experience with distributed, cloud-based architecture and patterns/tools like transactional outboxes or RabbitMQ/SQS/Kafka.
• Comfort leveraging AI tools (Claude or equivalent) to enhance productivity, research, and communication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
