Senior Software Engineer - .NET + AI

Overview

Own the end-to-end development and technical success of significant features within a product module as a Senior Software Engineer. Build scalable SaaS applications with .NET/C#, AI-assisted development tools, cloud services, APIs, databases and modern UI frameworks while delivering customer-centric features.

What you'll do

• Own the end-to-end development and technical success of significant features within a product module, delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Design, build, and evolve scalable SaaS applications using .NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL, and Flutter/React.
• Own delivery of significant features end-to-end, resolve technical ambiguity in your area without escalation, and drive estimation and planning for your own work.
• Design components with clear interfaces, extensibility, and testability; make architectural decisions within your domain and lead technical design reviews for owned features.
• Drive testing standards and coverage for features built and contribute to the team's test automation infrastructure.
• Own compliance adherence for components, understand relevant regulatory and data governance requirements, and ensure code meets them.
• Apply a security-first mindset to design, including threat modelling for owned work.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver customer-centric features in an agile environment.
• Understand customer workflows deeply enough to challenge requirements and propose alternatives.
• Own production health for built components, including monitoring, alerts, dashboards, and incident response.
• Leverage modern AI-assisted development tools throughout the engineering lifecycle for design exploration, implementation, debugging, testing, documentation, and code review.
• Apply engineering judgment to determine where AI-generated output can be trusted and where human expertise is essential, particularly for security, data integrity, architecture, compliance, and customer-critical workflows.
• Write clear design documents and communicate technical decisions and trade-offs to technical and non-technical audiences.

What you'll need

• 5–7 years of experience designing and building enterprise-scale SaaS applications using Microsoft technologies (.NET/C#, REST APIs, SQL Server/NoSQL) and modern UI frameworks such as Flutter or React.
• 3+ years of experience building highly available, scalable, distributed cloud services on AWS or Azure.
• Strong system design, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to own complex technical problems within your area.
• Hands-on experience using modern AI-assisted development tools, including Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor, in a production environment.
• Strong engineering judgment to critically review AI-generated code, especially in security, performance, scalability, reliability, and data integrity.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, continuously evolving product organization.

Nice to have

• Experience building developer productivity tooling, prompt libraries, reusable workflows, MCP servers, or AI-enabled engineering automation.
• Passion for continuously learning emerging AI-assisted engineering practices and applying those that create measurable customer and engineering value.
