Senior Software Engineer- Oracle Essbase (ASO/BSO)

Overview

Senior Software Engineer for Dodeca-based financial reporting and analytical solutions, with a focus on Oracle Essbase (ASO/BSO) and multidimensional financial modeling.

What you'll do

• Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within the technical domain.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document Dodeca-related projects including upgrades and deployments.
• Review technical challenges and resolve issues across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to translate reporting requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of Dodeca solutions from requirements through production deployment and maintenance.
• Provide on-call and production support and act as an escalation point for production issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and serve as a technical SME for Dodeca.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of Software Engineering experience (or equivalent demonstrated via experience, training, military experience, or education).
• Hands-on experience with Dodeca application development and configuration.
• In-depth experience with Oracle Essbase (ASO/BSO), including calc scripts, aggregations, and MaxL scripting.
• Strong understanding of multidimensional financial modeling and OLAP concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle and/or SQL Server databases.
• Experience using UNIX/LINUX shell scripting and a job scheduling tool such as CA Autosys.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
