Senior Software Test Automation Engineer - (JavaScript, Playwright, AI Featured Testing, ETL Testing, SQL)

Overview

Senior Software Test Automation Engineer to build and maintain automated test frameworks for applications, including database, API, ETL, and UI testing.

What you'll do

• Devise test approach/strategy for automated testing.
• Design and implement automation framework(s) with support from lead/architect.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep test coverage as the application evolves.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on requirements and acceptance criteria to improve testability.
• Write and execute tests based on identified scenarios, including API testing (manual and automated as applicable).
• Perform root-cause analysis for failed tests and drive resolution with the development team.
• Mentor junior automation engineers and share best practices.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of software test automation experience.
• Proficiency in C# test automation and frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Proficiency in JavaScript test automation and frameworks such as TestCafe, Playwright, or Jest.
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of SQL and data validation; experience with data-related tools such as data bricks and ADF.
• Hands-on experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Good knowledge of API testing tools and frameworks such as Postman or RestSharp.
