Senior Software Test Engineer

Overview

Senior Software Test Engineer focused on early QA automation and quality across software, web, and mobile product lines.

What you'll do

• Define QA strategy, architecture, and execution for all product lines.
• Design and develop advanced object-oriented test suites.
• Implement functional and automation testing across supported platforms and languages.
• Write backend integration tests and RESTful API tests.
• Develop test frameworks for data pipeline validation and streaming data processing.
• Design and execute integration, regression, and stress tests using standard tools.
• Document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing, and CI/CD.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience as a test engineer with both manual and automated testing.
• 5+ years of programming experience in Java, Python, Groovy, or other languages.
• 3+ years of experience with automated testing frameworks, including Selenium with Cucumber and Jenkins.
• Proficiency in QA methodologies, software testing principles, and verification/validation.
• Knowledge of behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD).
• Experience with DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) and Jenkins.
• Experience using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management tools (e.g., TestRail or XRay).

Nice to have

• Experience Network Management (NMS) testing.
• Telecom experience.
• Working knowledge of micro-services based API and load testing tools.
• Experience working in cloud ecosystems like AWS or Azure.
• Experience in CI/CD environment with a build/release model supporting continuous delivery.
