Advanced Software Engineer - SW Functional Testing

Overview

Serve as a core member of the functional test team developing embedded software tests for Radar products and safety products used in global OEM vehicles.

What you'll do

• Define and/or optimize AUTOSAR-based software test cases in a multicore environment and automate them.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for day-to-day activities.
• Debug issues and resolve them with ownership.
• Manage your time effectively against your targets.
• Adhere to the Company's Policies and Procedures.
• Emphasize and support continuous process improvement.
• Work in an agile development environment.
• Design, automate and execute test cases against software requirements and software architecture for automotive products.
• Identify and perform regression tests, smoke tests and acceptance tests against changes in software.
• Execute test reporting, defect tracking and supportive functions.
• Set up and debug automated test environments and manual test benches.

What you'll need

• B.E., B.Tech, M.E. or M.Tech in Electronics & Communication, Electrical or Instrumentation.
• Minimum experience of 6 to 9 years in automotive functional testing.
• Experience in software functional testing of Radar and Domain Controller platforms.
• Python programming skills.
• CAPL programming skills.
• Hands-on experience testing AUTOSAR code and BSW.
• Experience with cybersecurity and fault-injection testing.
• Good knowledge of CAN, LIN, Ethernet and diagnostics.
• Experience with automated test environments and manual test benches.
• Experience with TRACE32, Lauterbach debugger or other debugger, CANoe and Renesas.
• Good team player who exhibits good written and communication skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have

• C programming skills.
• C++ programming skills.
• Experience working in an agile development environment.
• ISTQB certification.
• Knowledge of Linux, Jenkins, Jira, Polarion, SharePoint, Confluence, GIT or similar.
