Senior Specialist

Overview

Senior Specialist role on the IKS team at MMIPL Mumbai, supporting strategic risk services with an emphasis on Business Continuity Management, delivering client projects and aiding business development.

What you'll do

• Advise clients on transforming business continuity, crisis management, emergency management and disaster recovery solutions.
• Drive operational and technical resilience solutions to meet current threats and enable timely business recovery.
• Perform BIA and RA for client processes, and engage in BCM assessments.
• Design resilient processes and technology, and support operational and service enhancement processes.
• Manage and provide oversight to the engagement lifecycle.
• Contribute to the eminence of the MMIPL BCM team.
• Develop and deliver complex written and oral communications, such as proposals, technical concepts and deliverables.
• Assist in business development, from writing proposals to delivering presentations and selling new engagements.
• Execute additional consulting, analytical and operational tasks as reasonably expected from time to time.

What you'll need

• Relevant risk management qualification and a Bachelor's degree, and relevant fields.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in BCM.
• Relevant ISO, CBCP and/or MBCI certifications.
• Excellent communication skills: verbal, writing, listening.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint, Word, Excel (including Macros, VBA), Access and SharePoint.
• Knowledge of implementing, managing, and auditing an ISO-22301 BCMS.
• Understanding of various aspects of technology resilience, including design and process aspects.
• Understanding of BCM related tools and software.

Nice to have

• Master's degree.
• Business Resilience experience from another major consulting firm, with strong domain knowledge and experience in Business Continuity Management.
• Secondary domain knowledge or experience in Emergency Response and Cyber Security.
• Familiarity with core statistical concepts, e.g., correlation, regressions, significance values.
• Knowhow of programming languages like Python or R, Power Apps and BI tools like Tableau.
• Ability to take initiatives to strive for improvement in analytical techniques, processes and outputs.

Details

• Based in Mumbai.
• Hybrid role: at least three days per week in the office, with at least one anchor day per week for office-based teams.
