Overview
Drive end-to-end Back-End capacity planning to balance demand and capacity, identify bottlenecks before they impact customers, and ensure production readiness.
What you'll do
- Translate customer demand into Back-End capacity requirements, with primary focus on the rolling next 6 months.
- Review and validate capacity loading across Back-End processes, especially Assembly and Test, against customer demand.
- Identify capacity bottlenecks, constraints, and underutilized resources that could impact customer deliveries or operational efficiency.
- Ensure tester and equipment capacity readiness to support demand, product mix, and business priorities.
- Work closely with Factory Planners, Supply Chain Planners, Demand Planners, PE, TE, and other stakeholders to align capacity with demand and material availability.
- Identify demand-capacity gaps early and highlight risks, roadblocks, and potential customer impact.
- Drive and coordinate capacity improvement actions, including optimization, load balancing, productivity improvement, and capacity adjustments.
- Support new product ramp-up and demand changes by ensuring adequate Back-End capacity is available at the required time.
- Monitor capacity utilization and loading trends and initiate corrective actions to avoid both capacity shortages and excessive idle capacity.
- Optimize capacity utilization while minimizing excess inventory and idle costs, balancing customer service requirements with operational efficiency.
- Provide clear capacity outlook, risks, and action plans to support business and supply-chain decision-making.
What you'll need
- 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, capacity planning, production planning, or manufacturing planning.
- Good understanding of Supply Chain Management, demand planning, capacity planning, production loading, constraint management, and inventory management.
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP.
- Strong analytical skills using Excel.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Capable of working cross-functionally to identify capacity risks and drive mitigation actions.
Nice to have
