Senior Staff Software Development Engineer

Overview

Lead software engineering for high-scale API Gateway and developer platform systems, solving complex technical problems and building scalable services.

What you'll do

• Lead the team's code, design, and project delivery.
• Solve complex technical challenges for complex systems.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and scalability issues.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and evaluate technical trade-offs.
• Work with product managers to decompose and prioritize projects.
• Optimize applications across mobile, web, and living room platforms.
• Mentor and guide other developers.

What you'll need

• 9–12 years of progressive software development experience.
• Strong coding and design skills in Java or Golang.
• Experience building high-scale distributed domain-driven microservices.
• Proficiency with MySQL, Cassandra, Redis, or DynamoDB.
• Strong problem-solving and production debugging skills.
• B-Tech or M-Tech in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS services including SQS, DynamoDB, EKS, or Aurora.
