Senior Storage Software Engineer

Overview

Senior Storage Software Engineer responsible for designing, building, and evolving scalable Block, File, and Object Storage platforms in Kubernetes environments. The role combines systems programming, distributed systems, storage architecture, and cloud-native engineering.

What you'll do

• Design and develop distributed Block, File, and Object Storage systems.
• Build Kubernetes-native storage solutions, including CSI, controllers, operators, and APIs.
• Write and review production-quality C/C++ and/or Go code.
• Lead architecture development and solve complex cross-system technical problems.
• Define storage-platform architecture, technical roadmaps, and reusable solutions.
• Debug issues across Kubernetes, Linux, networking, and storage layers.
• Mentor engineers and lead architecture and design reviews.

What you'll need

• 12–15 years of software engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Strong experience in storage and/or distributed systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++, Go, or Rust.
• Strong understanding of Linux, concurrency, networking, and storage I/O.
• Experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to architect and lead complex technical projects across teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of NVMe, iSCSI, NFS, S3, SPDK, CSI, or UBD.
