Overview
The Senior Support/Dev Ops Engineer provides technical support for deploying, operating, maintaining, and lifecycle-managing intelligent automation solutions across on-premises Windows servers and Azure environments. The role acts as a subject matter expert for RPA operations, automation platforms, application support, infrastructure, production support, and deployment.
What you'll do
- Plan and execute deployments, configure and administer solution environments, and support implementation, integration, testing, release, and production operation of automation solutions.
- Troubleshoot application and infrastructure issues, monitor automation processes, and manage incidents and changes.
- Collaborate with developers, solution architects, application teams, infrastructure teams, Windows, Network, Database, Security, Cloud, and other technology teams to resolve environment, connectivity, access, performance, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Support solutions deployed across on-premises Windows servers and Azure environments, including Azure-hosted applications, services, virtual machines, containers, storage, networking, and associated cloud infrastructure.
- Work with cloud and infrastructure teams to ensure appropriate connectivity, security, access, monitoring, availability, and operational readiness.
- Contribute to automation platform improvements, standardization, operational processes, monitoring and alerting, deployment methodologies, documentation, change control, release management, and continuous improvement of the Support model.
- Determine the appropriate approach for resolving complex production issues and coordinate resolution across multiple technology teams.
- Represent the RPA support organization in discussions with business stakeholders, technology teams, vendors, and external partners.
- Provide direction and guidance on incident management, root-cause analysis, problem management, deployment and release processes, environment readiness, monitoring, performance, resiliency, and operational controls.
- Drive standardization and continuous improvement of Support processes, deployment practices, and platform capabilities.
- May lead or coordinate technical activities and cross-functional initiatives related to platforms and infrastructure.
- May lead technical projects, mentor team members, and establish best practices, standards, and operational procedures for Support and automation platforms.
What you'll need
- A technical Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years related experience, or a Master's degree and a minimum of 8 years experience.
- Significant experience in RPA, Intelligent automation, application support, production support, or technology operations.
- Experience supporting RPA solutions across on-premises and cloud/Azure environments.
- Strong experience working with Windows Server, networking, databases, security, and other infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Experience with RPA deployment, configuration, monitoring, scheduling, incident management, change management, release management, and troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Azure services and cloud deployment concepts, including compute, networking, storage, identity/access, monitoring, and application hosting.
Nice to have
- Experience with automation technologies such as WorkFusion, Python-based RPA, Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with ITIL/service management processes, ServiceNow, CI/CD, source control, logging, monitoring, and operational controls.
