Senior Support Engineer (EMEA)

Overview

Support customers running Qdrant's vector search engine reliably in production. Investigate technical issues in cloud-native environments and improve support tools and workflows.

What you'll do

• Provide asynchronous technical support to customers running Qdrant.
• Troubleshoot production issues across Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, and databases.
• Lead incident investigations and create documented diagnostics and repeatable fixes.
• Partner with engineering and platform teams to resolve customer issues.
• Build and maintain internal tools for faster, more observable support workflows.
• Write documentation for customers and internal teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders through strong technical ownership.

What you'll need

• At least 5 years in a customer-facing support or infrastructure role.
• Strong hands-on Kubernetes skills.
• Proficiency in Python or a similar scripting language.
• Experience with Kafka or similar distributed systems.
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of database internals under production load.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) credential.
• Familiarity with vector search or vector databases.
• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Security background.
• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, or support workflow automation.
