Senior Consultant - Middleware/OCP

Overview

Senior Consultant focused on middleware and OpenShift (OCP) work. You will support end-to-end consulting engagements from scoping through design and technical delivery.

What you'll do

• Apply software engineering principles to the operations domain.
• Design, build, and run large-scale distributed fault-tolerant systems.
• Develop APIs using Red Hat technology products and services.
• Design, develop, and manage Kafka-based data pipelines.
• Analyze Kafka issues and monitor performance to minimize downtime.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for 24x7x365 production support.
• Support presales and post-sales field teams during workshops, POCs, pilots, and deployments.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience with middleware technologies and enterprise web/middleware projects.
• Knowledge and some experience with OpenShift by Red Hat.
• Hands-on experience using Cloud as a development environment.
• Good technical skills implementing JEE solutions and designing such systems.
• Hands-on experience with agile approaches and CI/CD/pipelines.
• Experience with DevOps and Microservices is expected (explicitly stated as a plus/advantage).
• Ability and desire to learn new technologies independently.
