Senior System and Application Engineer

Overview

Senior System and Application Engineer role focused on software for NXP wireless connectivity solutions (Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and IoT).

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and unit test software solutions on Wi‑Fi/Bluetooth/IoT for existing and upcoming SoCs.
• Work on software solution efforts for bug fixes, enhancements, and feature updates.
• Debug customer-reported issues on various platforms as required.
• Provide technical support to customers during evaluation and integration of wireless connectivity solutions.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Field Application Engineers to understand customer use cases and requirements.

What you'll need

• MS/ME/MTech degree with 6+ years of experience in EE, CE, CS, or equivalent.
• Strong experience in embedded systems and operating systems including RTOS and Linux.
• Experience with kernel internals.
• Proficiency in C programming and debugging.
• Good understanding of networking components like TCP/IP.
• Exposure to ARM processor architecture.

Nice to have

• Background on Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and 802.15.4 protocol.
• Experience with SDIO/PCIe/USB bus interfaces.
