Senior System Software Engineer, Deep Learning Accelerator

Overview

Sr. System Software Engineer for NVIDIA’s Deep Learning Accelerator (DLA/NPU) team, developing and maintaining low-level system software drivers and tooling.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain low-level drivers for next-generation NVIDIA deep-learning hardware.
• Layout and maintain software driver verification.
• Develop and sustain performance and precision modeling for the DLA system.
• Develop drivers for the DLA system software stack.

What you'll need

• 12+ years of experience developing and leading complex low-level or system software projects.
• Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong C programming skills with experience working with large codebases.
• Background with operating system interfaces for threads, process control, and virtual memory.
• Experience writing and debugging multithreaded programs.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining complex system software stacks.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills, with the ability to achieve objectives under tight deadlines.

Nice to have

• Experience with system-level architecture (interconnects, memory hierarchy, interrupts, memory-mapped IO).
• Experience with kernel mode development.
• Experience with Linux, Windows, or macOS driver development.
• Familiarity with deep learning.
