Senior Technical Support Engineer - SASE

Overview

Senior Technical Support Engineer for SASE and SD-WAN, owning technical architecture, deployment, and optimization of a global network fabric with a security-first mindset.

What you'll do

• Lead architecture and design of global SD-WAN overlays and SASE integrations (ZTNA, CASB, SWG).
• Orchestrate migration from legacy MPLS/VPN to software-defined SD-WAN solutions with minimal disruption.
• Collaborate with security teams to implement and enforce Zero Trust principles across the WAN.
• Serve as the final escalation point for complex network outages and perform root-cause analysis.
• Analyze traffic patterns and application performance to tune FEC and QoS policies.
• Develop automation scripts in Python, Ansible, or Terraform to support IaC deployments.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of Network Engineering experience, including 3+ years focused on SD-WAN and/or SASE.
• Hands-on experience with SD-WAN platforms such as Cisco Viptela/Velocloud, Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN, or Fortinet.
• Expertise in routing protocols including BGP and OSPF, plus tunneling protocols like IPsec and GRE.
• Experience with SASE components including ZTNA, SWG, CASB, and FWaaS.
• Cloud networking knowledge in AWS, Azure, or GCP (e.g., Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, Transit Gateways).

Nice to have

• Professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE (Enterprise or Security) or PCNSE.
• Proficiency with monitoring and deep-packet analysis tools (e.g., ThousandEyes, Wireshark, SolarWinds).
