Associate Principal Engineer

Overview

Associate Principal Engineer focused on architecting and operating scalable multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and hybrid networking solutions.

What you'll do

• Architect and implement scalable multi-cloud networking solutions across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Design and manage AWS Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN/Network Connectivity Center, VPC/VNet architectures, VPNs, interconnects, and hybrid connectivity to on-premises data centers.
• Define and enforce network architecture standards, IP address management, routing standards, and governance practices.
• Automate network infrastructure deployments using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions.
• Lead architecture reviews and provide technical direction on segmentation, zero-trust architecture, routing, and traffic-flow optimization.
• Collaborate with Security teams to implement network security controls including firewalls, NACLs, route filters, encryption, and segmentation.
• Establish monitoring/telemetry/observability and troubleshoot complex cloud and hybrid network issues for root-cause resolution.

What you'll need

• 9+ years of experience in network architecture or engineering.
• 3+ years hands-on experience in cloud networking.
• Strong expertise in AWS networking and multi-cloud networking environments (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Hands-on experience with AWS Transit Gateway, Cloud WAN, VPC/VNet design, VPN, Direct Connect, interconnects, and hybrid connectivity.
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and network automation.
• Strong understanding of BGP, routing governance, IP address management, and hybrid connectivity models.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN technologies and network security/segmentation/zero-trust principles.
