Senior Test Automation Engineer

Overview

Senior Test Automation Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing for Angular and .NET applications, including UI, integration, end-to-end, and API coverage.

What you'll do

• Build a prioritized automation roadmap from existing manual test suites.
• Develop and maintain Playwright and TypeScript automated tests.
• Enhance automation frameworks with reusable components, fixtures, reporting, and diagnostics.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and source code repositories.
• Resolve flaky tests, environment issues, timing dependencies, and test data problems.
• Analyze test failures and support risk-based release testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams and mentor junior automation engineers.

What you'll need

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in test automation, software development, or SDET.
• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
• Experience building scalable, maintainable test automation frameworks.
• Experience with UI, integration, end-to-end, and API testing.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git and code review practices.
• Strong SQL skills for test data creation, validation, cleanup, and management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, .NET, Azure DevOps, accessibility, visual regression, performance, or contract testing.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or managed services environments.
