Senior Travel Counselor

Overview

As a Senior Travel Counselor (Travel Consultant), you’ll work with a remote team to provide service to corporate business clients.

What you'll do

• Advise and arrange corporate travel for individuals and groups.
• Research travel options and anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.
• Arrange and book business travel across air, road, rail, and accommodations.
• Use Global Distribution Systems (GDSs) including Sabre, Apollo, Galileo, and Amadeus.
• Ensure compliance with customer travel policy, provider policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Use positive telephone service techniques and handle special customer requests.
• Collaborate with the team to coach, mentor, and improve service levels.

What you'll need

• Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs.
• Native GDS expertise (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus and/or Galileo).
• Professional communication (written and verbal).
• Attention to detail.
• Integrity and ability to look after personal traveler information.
• Understanding of the travel industry (business travel, leisure travel, or airline reservation background).
• Ability to resolve customer issues quickly and independently and/or with suppliers.
