Senior Validation Engineer

Overview

Senior Validation Engineer responsible for comprehensive post-silicon validation of SOC products against defined project key product indicators (KPIs), managing validation of multiple SOCs in parallel and interfacing with global teams.

What you'll do

• Support post-silicon validation of multiple SOCs in parallel, designed on leading-edge process technology nodes.
• Work independently and provide technical direction for junior team members.
• Interface with and support Design, Verification, Applications, Product and Test Engineering, Marketing, and others.
• Validate and debug silicon in support of product release.
• Develop and improve automated validation setups and scripts.
• Automate the validation process to reduce overall validation cycle time.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience in post-silicon validation or pre-silicon emulation of digital SOCs.
• Solid experience validating complex SOCs.
• Good knowledge of microcontroller/microprocessor architecture and instruction set.
• Strong experience in C programming language and scripting (Python).
• Solid concepts on RTOS.
• Kickstarter in ARM programming with embedded firmware development using ARM MCU, Linux, and other RTOS platforms.
• Solid understanding of key peripherals: clocking, power management, Ethernet, PCIe, SerDes, USB.
• Excellent engineering documentation skills, verbal communication, and presentation skills.
• Well organized, methodical, and detail oriented.
• Experience working with engineering experts in a multi-geography, multi-cultural environment.

Nice to have

• Working experience on FreeRTOS.
• AI/ML tools knowhow and demonstrated automation enablement for code generation and debug.
