Overview
Validate and automate testing of multimedia features for next-generation XR, wearable, and mobile platforms. Develop validation strategies, test methodologies, automation frameworks, and performance and quality KPI analysis across audio, camera, sensor, AI, and connectivity features running on low-power subsystems.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and execute validation plans for low-power subsystems.
- Define test strategies covering audio, sensor, display, connectivity, and AI inference pipelines.
- Create comprehensive test matrices covering functional, performance, stress, and stability scenarios.
- Build and maintain automated test frameworks for LPAI feature validation.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD and continuous validation pipelines.
- Develop dashboards and automated reporting solutions.
- Analyze logs, traces, telemetry, and sensor data and debug failures.
- Collaborate with development teams to root cause issues and drive resolutions.
- Partner with software, hardware, AI/ML, and system teams.
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in system testing, validation, or automation.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Knowledge of Linux and Android environments.
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and defect lifecycle management.
- Experience working with logs, traces, and debugging tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience, or Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience, or PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
Nice to have
- Experience validating embedded, DSP, XR, mobile, or AI systems.
- Knowledge of sensor technologies such as IMU, Camera, and GNSS.
- Experience with AI/ML validation and model benchmarking.
- Familiarity with Qualcomm DSP, Hexagon, LPAI, or low-power subsystems.
- Knowledge of power measurement tools and methodologies.
- Experience with test infrastructure, robotics, motion rigs, or automated lab setups.
- Exposure to KPI generation, dashboarding, and large-scale dataset analysis.
