About the Job
We are seeking proactive and curious SEO Specialists for a remote Internship opportunity to join a fast-paced digital team. As an SEO intern you will work across on-page, off-page and technical initiatives to improve organic visibility and traffic. This role is ideal for candidates who want hands-on experience with real campaigns, learning practical SEO techniques, analytics, and outreach while collaborating with content and engineering teams. The internship is fully Remote and we are hiring 8 interns to support ongoing optimization, reporting, and link acquisition efforts.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform regular SEO audits to identify opportunities and technical issues affecting crawlability and indexation.
- Support on-page SEO tasks: optimize meta tags, headings, content structure, and internal linking for target keywords.
- Execute keyword research and map keywords to content opportunities and landing pages using industry tools.
- Plan and assist with off-page SEO and link building & outreach campaigns, including outreach to relevant sites and relationship building.
- Monitor performance via Google Search Console (GSC) and other analytics platforms; prepare weekly and monthly reports on rankings, traffic, and growth.
- Work on basic technical SEO tasks such as fixing crawl errors, improving site speed recommendations, and implementing structured data guidance.
- Collaborate with content creators and developers to implement HTML/CSS changes and SEO best practices across the site.
- Track KPIs, test hypotheses (A/B where applicable), and contribute to iterative optimization based on data.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with core SEO disciplines: On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, and Technical SEO.
- Hands-on experience or coursework in Keyword Research and content optimization.
- Experience with Google Search Console (GSC) and web analytics tools for monitoring performance and generating insights.
- Strong link building & outreach skills or demonstrated ability to conduct outreach and relationship building.
- Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS to implement or communicate front-end changes effectively.
- Ability to produce clear reports and actionable recommendations—strong analytics and reporting skills.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative, remote environment.
