About the Job

Join V Force Technologies as a Service Engineer (Fresher) based in Chennai to support installation, commissioning and field service of Weigh-in-Motion (WIM) systems, weighbridges and related tolling automation equipment. This OnSite role requires travel across India to perform diagnostics, preventive maintenance and client training for automotive and manufacturing customers. You will work hands-on with electrical, mechanical and software elements to ensure continuous uptime and high service quality.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Install and commission WIM systems, sensors and weighbridge equipment at client sites across India.
• Perform diagnosis of electrical, mechanical and software faults using standard diagnostic tools and instrumentation.
• Execute repairs and carry out scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Generate clear service reports and maintain accurate documentation of work performed, spares used and follow-up actions.
• Provide on-site client training for system operation, basic troubleshooting and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for timely procurement and replacement of spare parts.
• Support project installations, testing, and handover activities in collaboration with engineering teams.
• Be available for field escalation and contribute to a 24/7 service mindset when required.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Qualification: ITI/Diploma/B.E. in Electronics, Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering; ITI freshers welcome.
• Experience: 0–2 years in service engineering, preferably with WIM, weighbridges, PLCs or field instrumentation.
• Hands-on ability with electrical measurements, soldering, mechanical alignment and basic software configuration.
• Comfortable with extensive travel, field work and site-facing client interactions; valid two-wheeler license required.
• Strong problem-solving aptitude and ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills in English and Tamil for client training and reporting.
• Willingness to learn tolling automation technologies and grow with the company.
