ServiceNow Developer

Overview

Leidos is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and maintain solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and implement custom ServiceNow applications, workflows, and integrations.
• Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, SecOps, or GRC.
• Build and maintain Flow Designer flows and related features (business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, ACLs, script includes).
• Develop and support REST/SOAP integrations with third-party systems.
• Create and maintain Service Portal widgets and custom UI components.
• Perform unit testing, support UAT, and troubleshoot defects across dev/test/production instances.
• Collaborate with architects and admins on data model design, security/ACL architecture, and performance optimization.

What you'll need

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
• 4+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong JavaScript and Glide API skills (e.g., GlideRecord, GlideAjax, GlideForm, GlideSystem) with server/client scripting.
• Experience with Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Workflow Editor (legacy).
• Solid understanding of the ServiceNow data model, ACLs, business rules, and update sets.
• Experience building/consuming REST/SOAP services and integrations (MID Server experience is a plus).
• Strong experience with source control (Git) and CI/CD practices for ServiceNow.
