Overview
Shift Leader - Manufacturing is a line-level leadership role focused on running production performance and strengthening safety, quality, cost, delivery, and equipment reliability during shifts.
What you'll do
- Ensure the line team meets business results using a 6-star model.
- Manage the plan-do-check-adjust cycle for continuous improvement.
- Operate and maintain equipment to support safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability, and morale targets.
- Execute autonomous and progressive maintenance standards to maintain equipment and support new product development.
- Lead safety process adherence, including LOTO, behavior observation, and root-cause analysis.
- Lead shutdown maintenance, root-cause analysis, stops reduction loss analysis, and breakdown elimination.
What you'll need
- Minimum 3 years of production experience (required).
- BE qualification is required.
- Experience with Autonomous Maintenance (AM) Step 4 systems.
- Experience with Progressive Maintenance (PM) Step 3 systems.
- Ability to maintain equipment at basic conditions independently, including AM & PM standards on dedicated equipment.
- Experience with Total Productive Maintenance and Six Sigma (including AM steps 5–6 and PM step 3 qualifications).
- Experience leading line teams and handling interpersonal situations tactfully.
