Overview
Silicon Engineer role focused on building and shipping custom AI hardware, spanning end-to-end silicon activities from specification through first-silicon bring-up and debug across one or more key domains.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end program activities including strategy, specification, execution, and meeting the technical bar.
- Write specifications and interface definitions for others to design against as architecture converges.
- Make and own directional calls on technology/IP selection and build-vs-buy-vs-license decisions.
- Contribute to architecture and micro-architecture tradeoffs from your domain perspective.
- Partner on hardware-software co-design and support bring-up and integration with related teams.
- Support first-silicon bring-up and debug when hardware arrives.
What you'll need
- Deep, hands-on expertise in at least one silicon domain (e.g., front-end design, verification, physical design, DFT, analog/mixed-signal, technology/foundry, design infrastructure, packaging/signal or power integrity).
- Experience with personal contribution to silicon that taped out and shipped.
- Working fluency in adjacent chip-level tradeoff domains beyond your specialty.
- Experience working with external partners such as ASIC houses, IP vendors, foundries, or test partners.
- Track record of owning directional technical decisions and their consequences.
- Practical experience using AI coding tools in your work.
- Clear written/verbal communication and experience driving alignment across teams.

- Hybrid work policy: expected to be in one of the offices at least 25% of the time.
