Site Contract Specialist II

Overview

Site Contract Specialist II administers and manages site-level contract processes for industry-sponsored clinical trials.

What you'll do

• Coordinate contract documents with relevant protocol, informed consent, institution, investigator, vendor, consultant, and customer agreements.
• Negotiate and prepare contracts, budgets, and related documents for multi-country projects (with supervision/leadership as applicable).
• Produce site-specific contracts from country templates and support submissions of proposed contracts and budgets.
• Review contracts for completeness and accuracy and ensure corrections are documented.
• Perform quality control, arrange execution of CTAs, and archive documents with metadata.
• Track contracting timelines and follow up on outstanding contract issues using the agreed tracking system.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff on departmental SOPs and maintain training materials.

What you'll need

• BA/BS (or equivalent combination) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Public Health, or related field.
• High level of contracts management experience.
• Experience in a contract research organization or pharmaceutical industry is essential.
• Strong knowledge of the clinical development process and legal/contracting parameters.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent understanding of clinical trial process across Phases II-IV and ICH GCP.
• Strong negotiating, written/oral communication, organizational, and team-orientation skills.
